Who We Are

United AfriKan American Men, Inc. (UAAM) is a national fellowship organization founded on the principles of liberation, self-determination, academic excellence, and the upliftment of the Black community. Established in 1993, UAAM was created to redefine the narrative surrounding Black men while cultivating leaders rooted in service, scholarship, and cultural awareness. Through brotherhood, accountability, and purpose-driven action, UAAM prepares men to lead on campus, in their professions, and throughout society.

What We Do

    Becoming a Man (BaM) Program

    A mentorship and character-development program designed to re-educate and uplift young Black males. BaM focuses on self-esteem, cultural awareness, public speaking, and leadership skills.

    Mentorship Programs

    UAAM members mentor younger males and peers, providing guidance on academics, personal development, and navigating campus life.

    Public Speaking & Leadership Series

    Workshops and forums that sharpen members’ communication skills and prepare them to speak confidently in public, professional, and community spaces.

    Community Service & Outreach

    Service projects, drives, and collaborations with community organizations to address local needs and support Black communities.

    Special Events & Recognition
